There's a lot of competition at the low end in Waikiki, and you may do better in this price range. It's OK, though. We recently stayed here in the very-off-season, early Dec, at sub-60.00 and my wife was a good sport about it, but I would only stay here again as a single! We had to change rooms 3 times in quick succession, which was cheerfully accommodated, because the first had a screaming air conditioner, the second and third had an eye-watering Pine-sol smell like they were covering up a recent murder, while the fourth was just fine. To put things in perspective, it was bigger than a cruise ship stateroom and would have been considered a 'find' in a European city at this price. The free wi-fi worked well in our room, and the location of the hotel is just fine. There are two 20 cents-a-minute computers with printer in the lobby, which is fairly attractive. Didn't experience any delays with the two elevators serving the building. Unlike the Aqua Palms, from which we had just moved, the hot water was instant and plentiful at all hours.The rooms are clean. None of the four rooms we were in had a lot of storage, so they wouldn't suit people who bring a lot of stuff; we take only carry-on luggage, so we were ok. You may or may not get a tiny closet, and only one room had a small desk. We did get a 3-drawer dresser, and a fridge and microwave. Ask for a tub-stopper at the front desk if there is not already one in your bathroom.

Great convenient location
10/26/2009I always enjoy staying here! the staff is friendly and helpful. it is a convenient location. it is an inexpensive place to stay - no frills - but all the conveniences necessary!

10/15/2009Small room but but nice clean hotel for the price, convient walking distance to main drag and waikiki beach right on busline and good view from room of ocean.

My stay at the hotel was good . The room was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. And I had a good view . I would gladly stay at this hotel again. The beach is only two blocks away. The shower is the only thing that needs work . They need to buy new shower heads, but that was the only thing.
